Eligibility Criteria of CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2020
Minimum Educational Qualification:
A.Category – I Technician (Vocational) Apprentices:-
- Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned vocation.
B.Category – II Trade Apprentices:-
- Pass in ITI in the concerned trade. Certificate/Provisional National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trades that are approved for undergoing Apprenticeship Training.
C. Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should upload Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority while submitting their online application and without such certificate, their candidature will not be considered.
Age Limit for CSL Apprentice Jobs:
- The age limit will be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rules.
Selection Process for CSL Apprentice Posts:
- Only candidates who are domicile of Kerala shall be considered. Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. In case, the
- same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.

Pay Scale:

Category – I Technician (Vocational) Apprentices: Rs.9000 per month.
- Category – II Trade Apprentices: Rs.8000 per month.

Educational Qualification: Candidates read the qualification details follow:
Serang=> Candidates should have complet VII standard pass and valid Serang / Lascar cum Serang Certificate issued by the Competent Authority under the relevant statutes.
Engine Driver=> Candidates must be complet VII standard pass and valid Engine driver Certificate issued by the Competent Authority under the relevant statutes.
Age Limit: Applicants age not more than 30 years as on 27 June 2020.
Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates in posts reserved for them. The upper age is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Period of Contract: The posts above are temporary in nature and for a maximum period of three years subject to project requirements and performance.
